This was a fun project. A movie poster of a movie I like for an expo. I chose Being John Malkovich.

 

 

This was the poster for the event, in which my name does not appear, but trust me, I was there. ;)

This is the lineart for the poster. Has the three main characters in the front and a giant bald man in the background who may or may not be John Malkovich. I Also included seven and a half marionettes.

 

 

Some flat colors, nothing too fancy, just little bright coloring for the toon style.

 

 

 

Then added some details, like some faint lights and strong shadows. Also, some texture to the background. Also, strings!

 

 

 

And here's the final result, I added the title credits for the movie and a hidden John Malkovich photo... really too faint to see, but I know it's there.
